The Office of the State Fire Marshal (OSFM) is accepting applications to fill the position of Executive I. The candidate for this position will serve as the Licensing Coordinator of licensing programs which include Sprinkler Contractor Licensing Pyrotechnic Distributor & Operating Licensing Consumer Fireworks Registration and Fire Equipment Distributor & Employee Licensing. The agency seeks a candidate with a positive attitude who has attained past experience serving in a liaison capacity and enjoys interaction with members of the public and fire service. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to adapt to a changing work environment and is experienced in the balancing of multiple priorities immediate and long-term. Excellent critical thinking and swift decision-making skills are of great importance in this position. As the Executive I Licensing Coordinator and employee of the State of Illinois the selected candidate will have access to state healthcare benefits and a pension plan.
