Responsibilities:
  • Develops recommends implements and manages IT Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategy and architect deliverables for the organization

General Skills:

Skills
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field. Masters degree or certifications (e.g. TOGAF Azure Solutions Architect) are strongly preferred. and nbsp;

  • Experience: and nbsp;(50%)
  1. 3-5 years and nbsp;of progressive experience in enterprise architecture and solution architecture within a public sector or large enterprise environment and nbsp;
  2. Demonstrated experience with OPS enterprise architecture governance this includes supporting the process as well as delivering required artefacts.
  3. Understanding of various compliance standards including but not limited to GO-ITS FIPPAPHIPPA and ARA.
  4. Hands-on experience delivering necessary AGP artefacts and contributing to architecture reviews blueprint development and target state planning.
  5. Familiarity with OPS I and amp;IT Standards and environments including shared services ministry specific systems and digital transformation initiatives.
  6. Proven ability to integrate complex AI-powered solutions while managing cross-functional dependencies. and nbsp;
  7. Experience working in cross-functional teams involving and nbsp;business data application and technology domains.

  • Technical Skills: and nbsp;(35%)
  1. Strong understanding of EA frameworks and their application in OPS setting.
  2. Advanced and nbsp;knowledge and nbsp;of and nbsp;cloud platforms cybersecurity principles and interoperability standards
  3. Microsoft Azure: Expert in Azure architecture including security networking identity data services and monitoring. and nbsp;
  4. Enterprise Integration: Skilled in API development ESB microservices architecture and middleware technologies. and nbsp;
  5. Familiarity with and nbsp;ITIL processes specifically incident change and release management and the PMO Stage Gate process in OPS. and nbsp;
  6. Knowledgeable in and nbsp;cloud-based security practices and nbsp;and compliance protocols relevant to OPS. and nbsp;

  • Leadership and amp; Collaboration Skills: and nbsp;(15%)
  1. Strong leadership abilities with experience of providing technical guidance and influencing stakeholders across various levels. and nbsp;

  • Architecture Artifacts
  1. Development of and nbsp;current state and nbsp;and and nbsp;target state and nbsp;architecture models across business data application and technology domains.
  2. Creation of and nbsp;solution blueprints and nbsp;reference architectures and and nbsp;architecture patterns and nbsp;aligned with OPS standards.
  • Architecture Review Documentation
  1. Preparation of materials for and nbsp;Architecture Review Board (ARB) and nbsp;or equivalent governance bodies such as AI Governance.
  2. Documentation of and nbsp;compliance assessments and nbsp;with GO-ITS standards privacy security and accessibility requirements.
  • EA Governance Contributions
  1. Support for and nbsp;EA governance processes including tracking decisions risks and exceptions.
  2. Contribution to and nbsp;EA repositories and nbsp;and knowledge bases (e.g. EA SharePoint modeling tools).
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  1. Facilitation of and nbsp;architecture working sessions and nbsp;with ministry stakeholders I and amp;IT clusters and GovTechON.
  2. Development of and nbsp;communication materials and nbsp;to explain architectural decisions and trade-offs.
  • Technology and Data Strategy Alignment
  1. Mapping of and nbsp;business capabilities and nbsp;to technology solutions.
  2. Identification of and nbsp;opportunities for reuse consolidation or modernization of systems and platforms.
  • Risk and Impact Assessments and Compliance Reports
  1. Execution of and nbsp;RkAP (Recordkeeping Access and Privacy) and nbsp;assessments.
  2. Identification and documentation of and nbsp;technical risks and nbsp;interoperability challenges and and nbsp;security gaps.
  3. Regular reports addressing privacy security and data integrity risks with recommended action plans
  • System Integration Plans and Roadmaps
  1. Roadmaps and plans detailing the and nbsp;integration of legacy systems and inter-agency data-sharing strategies. and nbsp;
  2. Clearly defined and nbsp;milestones and performance metrics and nbsp;for successful implementation. and nbsp;
  • Performance and amp; Scalability Reports
  1. Continuous performance monitoring reports including recommendations for optimizations to ensure the architecture remains future-proof


Must Have:
  1. Prior OPS experience with Enterprise architecture governance
  2. Preparation of materials for and nbsp;Architecture Review Board (ARB) and nbsp;or equivalent governance bodies such as AI Governance - and nbsp;specifically AGP 1/2
  3. Experience with artefacts prior (current state solution blueprints reference architecture solution architecture documents etc.)
  4. TRA experience and cyber security standards.
  5. GO-ITS standards (security)
