The candidate will be responsible for sourcing negotiating and purchasing jewellery materials ensuring quality and cost-efficiency. Proficiency in Excel is a must to maintain accurate records and manage procurement data.

Responsibilities:

Source and purchase gems jewellery materials and related products.
Negotiate with suppliers to get the best price and quality.
Maintain good supplier relationships and identify new suppliers.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store/warehouse teams.
Analyze purchase data and prepare reports using Excel.
Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to company standards.
Coordinate with the finance team for timely payments and budgeting.
Stay updated on market trends and jewellery industry developments.

Requirements:

Proven experience in purchase or procurement within the gems and jewellery industry.
Strong knowledge of gems jewellery materials and market trends.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data analysis reporting spreadsheets).
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
