Key Responsibilities

Direct the design development and implementation of secure scalable software and network architectures.
Recruit mentor and empower a diverse high-performing engineering team to achieve strategic objectives.
Establish and enforce engineering standards release processes and performance metrics to ensure quality and compliance.
Collaborate closely with product sales and customer success teams to align technical solutions with business goals and client expectations.
Champion innovation by integrating AI zero-trust security and emerging technologies into our product ecosystem.
Oversee resource allocation budgeting and project planning to deliver projects on time and within scope.
Optimize development workflows using Agile DevSecOps and CI/CD practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Represent the engineering organization in executive strategy sessions customer meetings and industry conferences.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field.
10 years of engineering leadership experience with 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Deep technical expertise in distributed systems cloud infrastructure networking or cybersecurity solutions.
Proven ability to build and scale high-performing engineering teams in fast-paced technology-driven environments.
Strong strategic thinking with experience aligning technical initiatives with business priorities.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage technical teams executives and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated success managing complex projects in regulated or mission-critical industries.
Proficiency with modern development methodologies including Agile CI/CD and secure software practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced degree (Masters or PhD) in Computer Science Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
Leadership experience in aerospace SaaS or enterprise IT with a focus on AI or zero-trust solutions.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 ISO 27001 NIST or aerospace-specific standards.
Track record of driving innovation such as leading AI/ML integrations or launching transformative products.
