Employment Type: PRN
Pay Rate: $28 - $32 per hour; (Negotiable based on experience)
Shift: Night 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team on a PRN basis. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients/residents during the night shift ensuring their safety comfort and well-being in accordance with facility standards and state regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and on time.
- Monitor and document patients health status vital signs and responses to treatment.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing dressing and mobility support.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and reports.
- Communicate effectively with the healthcare team patients and families.
- Ensure compliance with infection control safety and facility policies.
- Participate in shift reports and contribute to continuity of care.
Required Qualifications:
- Current and valid LPN license in the state of Maryland.
- CPR/BLS certification (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Strong clinical communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
