Position Overview

The Senior Software Engineer UI will support and enhance existing software applications and develop new user interface components within Cotivitis product suite. The role involves close collaboration with global teams (U.S. and India) business stakeholders and UX designers to build responsive and scalable UI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain responsive scalable UI components using Angular.
Collaborate with UX designers to convert wireframes and mockups into functional interactive interfaces.
Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues from internal and external users.
Document software specifications design and operational details before production release.
Lead technical discussions conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Enhance software performance reliability and availability.
Ensure adherence to Cotivitis development standards and software lifecycle processes.
Continuously research and implement emerging UI technologies and best practices.
Contribute to process and system improvements to increase development efficiency.
Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 4 years relevant experience in software engineering.
Frontend Development:
- 5 years of professional front-end development experience.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with Angular.
- Proven experience building responsive web UIs.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript HTML5 CSS3 and modern UI frameworks.
- Familiarity with micro-frontends or modular UI architectures (preferred).
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs.
- Working familiarity with Java.
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g. Oracle).
- Proficient with version control and release management tools.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to collaborate across distributed teams.
