What You Will Do:

Establishes standard work and assists in training
Coordinates equipment and labor to minimize downtime
May back fill forklift operators or other positions as needed
Participates in developing deploying and using continuous improvement systems
Identifies safety hazards through safety audits and initiatives. Recommends corrective actions
Communicates maintenance needs quality issues or other situations that impact safety quality or productivity to supervisor. Works closely with the Quality team
Continuously identifies opportunities for system and process waste elimination
Ensures constant communication with management on daily activities and challenges
Participates in selecting and developing new hires
Ensures the warehouse is clean and maintained
Successfully completes classroom and on the job training
Other duties as assigned

Position Details:

Plant location: McDonough GA Plant
Work week and shift: Monday Friday 6am 2pm with some OT
Compensation package offered: $27.00 ph

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED
1 year experience operating a Raymond stand-up forklift
2 years of working in a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment
No immigration sponsorship offered for this role

Physical Demands:

Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs
Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam

Preferred Qualifications:

TPM knowledge and experience
Experience with Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma systems
Basic computer knowledge
Professional experience coaching mentoring and providing feedback
Excellent communication skills

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range:

$27.00 ph Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as experience education training geography etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
