Shift: Night Shift 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $35.00 $40.00/hour (Stipends available for travelers)
Contract: 26 Weeks

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Provide basic nursing care and administer medications as prescribed.
Monitor patient health record vital signs and document observations accurately.
Respond to medical emergencies within the correctional facility.
Assist physicians and registered nurses with patient care procedures.
Maintain compliance with infection control safety and correctional health standards.
Promote a safe environment for both patients and staff.

Qualifications:

Required:

Active and unrestricted LPN license (New York State).
Minimum 2 years of LPN experience Med-Surg background preferred.
Willingness to work in a correctional or secure environment.
Availability for flexible scheduling; part-time candidates (2440 hours/week) may be considered.

Preferred:

Previous correctional healthcare experience.
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently.
