The Opportunity

The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Education) and Senior Vice-President has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Governance this role youll contribute to shaping the Universitys education policies and play a key role in supporting processes that uphold fairness and accountability for students. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in policy development stakeholder engagement and appeals coordination within a dynamic team environment.

What Youll Do:

  • Lead and coordinate the review of education policy and procedures ensuring they are clear trauma-informed and align with regulatory expectations
  • Engage with stakeholders across the University to identify challenges gather feedback and understand the drivers for change
  • Coordinate the exclusion appeals process ensuring it runs efficiently and in line with policy
  • Respond to enquiries and provide clear and accurate advice on education policy matters
  • Draft and edit policy documents communications and briefing materials with clarity and attention to detail
