WHAT WILL YOU DO:
The Director of the Office of Academic Assistance (OAA) provides leadership in the academic admission and advisement affairs of the Byrdine F. Lewis College of Nursing and Health Professions. The Director works collaboratively with the academic units of the college faculty staff and Associate Dean for Academics to achieve the admission and enrollment goals of the college.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Provide supervision guidance and professional development to the Associate Director Graduate Recruitment Manager Academic Advisor III and Administrative Specialist - Academic.
Oversee and coordinate the strategic operations of OAA. Provide leadership and vision for the college OAA and collaborate with the University Advisement Center on initiatives focused on student support and retention. Monitor and provide final approval on all Office budget matters.
Provide consultation on business processes and support for curriculum updates at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Supervise the graduation audit process and manage the colleges use of related student information data systems.
Oversee the accuracy of student admission and enrollment data. Monitor the colleges admission process in collaboration with college departments. Create reports related to college admission and enrollment goals outcomes and compliance.
Serve as the primary liaison between the college and university offices on matters related to advisement admission and enrollment management. Participate in standing and ad hoc university committees related to student enrollment services.
Supervise OAA participation in student and graduate recruitment events.
Advise and inform college administration department chairs faculty and staff on matters related to undergraduate and graduate education graduation student data administrative processes and other student services.
