Job Summary
Overview
Join a team that designs and delivers innovative industrial and pharmaceutical facilities across the globe. As aSenior Piping Designer youll play a key role in developing piping layouts coordinating with multi-discipline teams and ensuring the quality and accuracy of project deliverables all while mentoring others and contributing to the success of complex engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed piping design using 2D and 3D modeling tools (e.g. Hexagon SmartPlant S3D Autodesk Plant 3D).
- Review vendor drawings develop design estimates and manage assigned design tasks within schedule and budget.
- Lead multi-office project execution and ensure adherence to client scope standards and technical expectations.
- Identify and communicate design changes promptly to maintain project quality and progress.
- Mentor and guide junior designers fostering a collaborative and technically proficient design environment.
Qualifications
- Associates degree (AA) in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or a related technical field.
- Minimum 15 years of piping design experience.
- Advanced working knowledge of 2D/3D piping design and modeling software (Hexagon SmartPlant S3D Autodesk Plant 3D).
