Job Description:

City Night-Life Entertainment Corp is seeking a strategic experienced and people-focused Human Resource Director to lead and oversee all aspects of our HR operations across our diverse entertainment venues. This executive-level role requires a deep understanding of human capital management in fast-paced customer-driven environments.

As HR Director youll be responsible for shaping and executing the companys HR strategy managing compliance overseeing recruitment and talent development and fostering a strong workplace culture. Youll work closely with leadership to ensure our teams are supported our practices are compliant and our people are positioned for success.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the HR department and manage all functions including staffing employee relations training benefits and compliance.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the companys business goals.
  • Oversee recruitment and retention efforts for a wide range of roles (e.g. bartenders security DJs management).
  • Create and manage policies that ensure legal compliance and support a positive workplace culture.
  • Oversee employee performance management and career development programs.
  • Collaborate with operations and venue managers to address staffing needs and resolve personnel issues.
  • Lead diversity equity and inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends to keep HR practices competitive and current.
  • Manage HR budgets vendor relationships and contracts.
  • Serve as the point of contact for legal counsel on HR-related matters.
  • Report to executive leadership and provide insights on workforce metrics risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field (Masters degree or MBA preferred).
  • 710 years of progressive HR experience including 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in hospitality entertainment nightlife or service industry environments strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing large teams and multi-site operations.

Skills & Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws employment standards and HR best practices.
  • Excellent leadership organizational and strategic thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • High emotional intelligence with the ability to navigate sensitive employee issues.
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms payroll systems and data reporting.
  • Ability to balance high-level planning with hands-on execution.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends during high-traffic events or hiring seasons.
