Job Summary
Are you a hardworking reliable maintenance technician Were looking for you! Our company is growing and we need a part-time maintenance professional who has the know-how to keep our facilities and equipment in top shape. This position will convert to a full-time role. Youll conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance across our self-storage complexes multi-family and commercial properties. Compensation: $30/hr
Hours: 20hrs/week
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks including minor plumbing electrical appliances and grounds maintenance.
- Respond to and resolve maintenance requests from tenants in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct property inspections and identify any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Prepare vacant units for new tenants including light repairs painting and cleaning.
- Preserve and respect resident confidentiality and privacy.
- Interact positively with residents and the community.
- Work with the property management to ensure compliance with company state and federal policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and work orders.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Take additional maintenance requests as assigned.
- Proven experience in general handyman services or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of basic plumbing electrical and carpentry.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must be reliable organized and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
- Residing in Salt Lake County is highly preferred for this role.
- A clean criminal background is required.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation are required.
