Job Summary
The Production technician will assemble the companys products quality check them and pack them according to specifications.
Duties/Responsibilities
Reads blueprints schematics or similar documentation then builds the companys products to those specifications.
Uses various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
Maintains logs records and reports concerning production machine/equipment maintenance and product inconsistencies.
Checks products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolves any identified problems and alerts supervisor.
Maintains production logs inventories documentation and reports including those outlining procedures batch records inventory productivity changeover and progress.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as necessary to complete logs or records.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics and basic ability in mathematics reading or writing.
Detail-oriented and consistent.
Works well as a productive member of a team.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two (2) years of related experience
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of standing and performing repetitive tasks.
Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at a time.
Must have manual dexterity to assemble products or machines as directed.
Must have excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to differentiate between colored wires tabs and electronic components.
Must wear required PPE.
