As a Locum MD/DO you will play a crucial role in providing temporary medical coverage ensuring continuity of care for pediatric patients. This position involves working on-site and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities:
- Provide medical coverage for pediatric patients in the absence of permanent staff
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments to diagnose illnesses and develop treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses to treatment
- Collaborate with nurses therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to address concerns and provide education
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Adhere to all relevant medical protocols regulations and ethical standards
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions
Requirements:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Pediatrics
- Valid state medical license to practice as an MD or DO
- Proven experience working in pediatric care settings
- Strong knowledge of pediatric medical practices and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-5p
Duties: Physical exams immunizations identifying and treating illnesses etc.
Multidisciplinary team of internists specialists and dedicated support staff
EMR: AthenaHealth
Must be board-certified
