Job Summary

A Capital Markets Business Analyst translates business needs into technical requirements for IT teams focusing on capital market products like loans deposits and equities. They gather and analyze requirements create functional specifications and collaborate with
stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and process improvements within the capital markets domain

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Requirements Analysis:Identifying gathering and analyzing business requirements from various stakeholders within the capital markets space
  • Product Understanding: Developing a deep understanding of capital market products (e.g. loans deposits cash equities) and their related processes
  • Functional Specifications: Translating business needs into clear and concise functional specifications for IT development teams
  • Data Analysis: Utilizing data analysis techniques to derive insights from capital market data and support data-driven decision making
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Working closely with business users product managers and IT teams to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve existing processes and workflows within the capital markets domain
  • Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation related to requirements processes and system functionality
  • System Analysis: Performing system analysis including impact assessments and contributing to estimations for system changes
  • Testing Support: Assisting with system integration testing to ensure the quality of deliverables


Requirements

  • Capital Markets Expertise: Strong understanding of the capital markets with Front office and Back office related domain and its products
  • Tools iSTAR(is similar to Broadridge) Fedessa Compliance tools
  • Business Analysis Skills: Proven experience in requirements gathering analysis and documentation
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data and identify trends and patterns
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to solve complex business problems and propose effective solutionsTechnical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant technologies and tools used in the capital markets industry
  • Project Management Skills: Experience in managing projects and timelines
  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage and collaborate with various stakeholders
