Trainee Software Engineer

Job Description:

Avanceon is excited to welcome a Trainee Software Engineer to join our team and embark on a dynamic journey in Business Intelligence (BI) and Full Stack Development. As a trainee you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies including BI solutions (Power BI Tableau Excel Reporting and Dream Reporting) SQL Oracle PostgreSQL ETL SSIS SOAP REST API SCADA PLC ReactJS Angular Python C# and GIS.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Intelligence (BI) Solutions:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of BI solutions using Power BI Tableau Excel Reporting and Dream Reporting.
• Work closely with senior developers to create visually compelling dashboards and reports for data analysis.

Data Management and Integration:

• Learn and contribute to data management processes including SQL Oracle PostgreSQL ETL and SSIS.
• Participate in the integration of data through SOAP and REST APIs.
• Gain exposure to Full Stack Development by working on projects involving ReactJS Angular Python C# and .
• Gain exposure to GIS technologies and contribute to projects involving spatial data.
• Learn about SCADA systems and PLCs focused on developing software interfaces to industrial process monitoring and control.

Full Stack Development:

Gain exposure to Full Stack Development by working on projects involving ReactJS Angular Python C# and .

Geospatial Technologies (GIS):

Gain exposure to GIS technologies and contribute to projects involving spatial data.

Industrial Automation (SCADA and PLC):

Learn about SCADA systems and PLCs focused on developing software interfaces to industrial process monitoring and control.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software development concepts and a strong interest in BI and Full Stack technologies.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tools and languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
