As a Principal Technical Program Manager for Global Technology Vendor Management you will lead complex multi-functional technology projects and programs that will impact experiences for multiple groups across the firm including clients employees and stakeholders. The Global Technology Vendor Management Technical Program Manager will lead enterprise-wide initiatives focused on software product consolidation and increased software utilization partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure effective execution and tracking. You will collaborate with product lines to shape multi-year commercial strategies that support the firms technology broader technology vision.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic technical program plans aligning with organizational goals and cross-functional collaboration
- Oversee complex technology project and program execution managing resources budgets and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders clients and cross-functional teams providing direction and defining decision-making procedures for beneficial outcomes
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities incorporating best practices and staying abreast of emerging technologies
- Track monitor and report on strategic and commercial commitments such as vendor exits usage optimization and product consolidation with transparency
- Ensure delivery of targeted outcomes by minimizing execution risk and accelerating productivity gains
- Proactively identify risks develop mitigation strategies and escalate issues to ensure timely project delivery
- Provide executive leadership with data-driven analysis presentations and recommendations to support strategic decisions
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- 7 years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizations
- Demonstrated proficiency in technical solutions vendor product knowledge managing vendor relations and implementing solutions
- Advanced analytical reasoning skills applying critical thinking and problem-solving techniques to break down business technical and operational objectives
- Proven ability in leading through change managing dependencies and controlling change in high-pressure shifting environments
- Advanced expertise in stakeholder management establishing productive relationships and driving beneficial outcomes aligned with firm objectives
- Experience at the intersection of Technology and Business
- Demonstrated ability to influence and drive change across diverse stakeholder teams
- Deep knowledge of enterprise technologies including compute cloud networking database and security
- Commercial acumen related to software (on-premise and SaaS) hardware cloud solutions
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience with investment governance technology portfolio management or software rationalization programs.
- Certification in program/project management (PMP PgMP Agile etc.)
