Job Summary
Introduction
An opportunity exists for a Senior Professional Nurse to join a leading ICU in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. The successful candidate will mentor staff ensure high-quality patient care and oversee clinical operations within the ICU.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
- Professional Nurse qualification
- Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing if managing a specialist unit (e.g. Perioperative Nursing)
- Minimum 3 years Professional Nurse experience in a hospital setting
- At least 1 year of mentor experience
- SANC registration
- Strong clinical assessment critical care and decision-making skills
- Ability to support and develop junior nursing staff
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities
