This is a remote position.
Schedule:
- Mondays to Fridays 7:00 am to 4:00 pm Melbourne Time with 1-hour unpaid lunch
- 8 hours per day/40 hours per week
Position Purpose:
To perform clerical and administrative duties related to HR payroll and WHS management. The role will assist with both day-to-day business-as-usual tasks as well as projects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
General administration record management and data entry.
Handle internal and external requests for information and documents.
Prepare basic reports.
Maintain records and information systems including the UKG Ready and Payroll Metrics.
Check and prepare payroll data for authorization.
Monitor shared email inboxes.
Administer recruitment onboarding and job change processes. Help managers with selection processes if requested.
Assist with administering employee lift cycle activities e.g. pay reviews personal development plans injury management workers compensation training etc.
Assist with projects and process improvements.
Develop basic online training courses.
Ensure compliance with the Fair Work system including the NES and Modern Awards.
Requirements
Sound knowledge of the Fair Work system including knowledge of the National Employment Standards andModern Awards.
Experience administering recruitment onboarding & job change processes.
Experience preparing payroll for authorisation.
Good communication and interpersonal skills able to form positive workplace relationships.
Confident using computers and learning new systems UKG Ready experience advantageous.
Good organisational and multi-tasking abilities.
Ability to work in a small team environment.
Experience developing basic online training.
