Position Overview
We are seeking a freelance E-Commerce Systems Specialist to design and implement a barcode-driven production workflow for our photo studio. The goal is to create an automated system for product intake shot-list generation asset tracking and deliveryimproving speed and accuracy across high-volume studio operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement a barcode scanning system connecting samples to digital shot lists file names and delivery folders.
Build automated shot-list tools using Airtable Google Sheets or a custom app.
Develop intake-to-delivery workflows linking studio and retouching teams.
Document and train staff on new process standards.
Integrate SKU category and angle data to automate Capture One sessions and file-naming.
Audit workflow performance post-launch to improve throughput and consistency.
Qualifications
Experience designing barcode or asset-tracking systems in e-commerce or studio environments.
Strong working knowledge of Capture One Adobe Creative Cloud and spreadsheet automation tools (Airtable Google Sheets Notion).
Experience with API integrations or light scripting (Python JavaScript or Zapier/n8n) is a plus.
Understanding of photo studio production workflows and PDP content processes.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver systemized scalable solutions.
Project Scope
Duration: 48 weeks
Deliverable: Fully implemented barcode and shot-list automation system with training documentation
