Locum - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Troy NY
Join a dedicated healthcare team at a vibrant hospital facility in Troy New York. Samaritan Hospital and St. Peters Health Partners are searching for an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide exceptional anesthesia care in a supportive environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide anesthesia care in a hospital-based practice with supervision of 1 physician to 3 CRNAs.
- Manage a variety of cases including General Surgery Endoscopy Vascular OB Ortho and Bariatric Surgery.
- Perform spinal epidurals as part of anesthesia services.
- Participate in weeknight and weekend on-call rotations.
- Utilize the Epic EMR system for comprehensive patient documentation.
- Engage with an adult patient population with some pediatric cases as needed.
- Coordinate with a midwifery program for an estimated 100 deliveries per month.
Qualifications:
- Current NBCRNA certification is required.
- BLS ACLS and PALS certifications are mandatory.
- Active New York State nursing license is required.
- Provider must be residing more than 50 miles from the facility.
- Experience in spinal epidurals is preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- NBCRNA certification.
- Current BLS ACLS and PALS certifications.
- Valid New York State nursing license.
