Job Summary

Job Description
The Social Work and Gerontology Department at Weber State University invites applications for an instructor level faculty position. We specifically seek a native or near-native Spanish speaking candidate with experience teaching introductory social work and other courses in the curriculum both online and face-to-face. This position will also include instructional design as part of the Building Puentes program. Instructor positions are temporary appointments renewable annually at the sole discretion of the university.

Required Qualifications
Minimum requirements are an MSW with ability to be licensed in Utah and native or near-native Spanish speaking ability.

Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in or the potential for teaching mentoring and engaging undergraduate students.
