Job Summary
- Review and validate coded encounters for accuracy and consistency across providers and specialties.
- Identify and document coding patterns edge cases and anomalies to support internal quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of standardized coding workflows and guidelines.
- Demonstrate strong analytical judgment in handling ambiguous documentation and complex coding scenarios.
- Collaborate with R&D team to provide insights on coding automation opportunities.
- Ensure coding accuracy across multidisciplinary domains including General Practice Internal Medicine and Behavioral Health.
- Maintain awareness of payer-specific guidelines and evolving documentation standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to clarify coding requirements validate outputs and ensure alignment with compliance standards.
- Provide structured feedback to internal stakeholders to enhance coding accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in multispecialty medical coding.
- Strong ability to code various types of documentation applying:
- Official coding guidelines
- Payor-specific requirements
- Latest industry updates
- Proven ability to review and provide constructive feedback on AI-generated coding outputs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
