Employee Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join a dynamic team. Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $90000 - $110000 annually
- Retention Bonus Program: $10000 - $20000
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of employee benefits accounts with a focus on self-funded accounts (20% or more experience preferred).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring their needs are proactively addressed.
- Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced team members sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions to clients.
- Utilize software tools such as Benefit Zone and Employee Navigator (transitioning to Employee Navigator).
- Actively engage in team-building activities and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Life and Health (L&H) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in employee benefits account management with a preference for candidates with self-funded account experience.
- Skills:
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and inquisitive mindset with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Outgoing personality with a passion for mentoring and teaching others.
- Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a smaller collaborative team environment.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Benefit Zone and/or Employee Navigator preferred.
