Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Manager to join our team at 1617 Veterans Ave. Vandalia United States. As an Assistant Manager you will play a crucial role in supporting daily operations leading staff and ensuring exceptional customer service.

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving business goals
  • Lead motivate and train team members to maintain high performance standards
  • Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
  • Manage inventory including ordering receiving and stocking merchandise
  • Create and adjust employee schedules to optimize staffing levels
  • Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate financial records
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures
  • Contribute to a positive work environment and promote team collaboration
  • Assist in developing and executing marketing strategies to drive sales
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and security standards

Qualifications :

  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in retail or food service management
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in inventory management and scheduling techniques
  • Experience with cash handling and Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
