We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize our manufacturing operations in Ayer MA. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong background in food beverage biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will drive safety quality and productivity goals while fostering team development and continuous improvement across all production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety quality productivity and cost targets.
- Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Apply Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology to solve operational challenges and implement sustainable solutions.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput reduce waste and optimize scheduling.
- Supervise coach and develop a high-performing manufacturing team.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards including GMP SOPs OSHA and FDA.
- Promote a culture of safety accountability and employee engagement.
- Manage material availability product quality and on-time delivery through efficient resource planning.
- Facilitate operational reviews to ensure alignment with short- and long-term goals.
- Support new product launches in coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Lead workforce planning and training programs to ensure flexibility and succession readiness.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing (food beverage biotech or pharmaceutical).
- Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Familiarity with Daily Management Systems Lean principles GMPs SOPs OSHA and FDA regulations preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
