Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and optimize our manufacturing operations in Ayer MA. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with a strong background in food beverage biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing. You will drive safety quality and productivity goals while fostering team development and continuous improvement across all production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily manufacturing operations to achieve safety quality productivity and cost targets.
Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify opportunities for improvement.
Apply Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) methodology to solve operational challenges and implement sustainable solutions.
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput reduce waste and optimize scheduling.
Supervise coach and develop a high-performing manufacturing team.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards including GMP SOPs OSHA and FDA.
Promote a culture of safety accountability and employee engagement.
Manage material availability product quality and on-time delivery through efficient resource planning.
Facilitate operational reviews to ensure alignment with short- and long-term goals.
Support new product launches in coordination with cross-functional teams.
Lead workforce planning and training programs to ensure flexibility and succession readiness.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in manufacturing (food beverage biotech or pharmaceutical).
Proven experience implementing Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with Daily Management Systems Lean principles GMPs SOPs OSHA and FDA regulations preferred.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of motivating teams and fostering a high-performance culture.
