Job Summary
An Outstanding 1118 school in Cheshire is looking to appoint a dedicated Teacher of Physical Education to join its established and successful PE department from January 2026.
This school has built a strong sporting reputation across the region with students regularly representing at county and national level. The department benefits from exceptional facilities: a multi-purpose sports hall 3G pitch athletics track fully equipped gym and a new indoor climbing wall funded through a local partnership grant.
The PE faculty delivers a rich inclusive programme that balances elite performance with participation for all. From inter-house competitions to regional tournaments and a thriving Duke of Edinburgh Award cohort sport is truly embedded in the schools culture.
Teachers in the department work collaboratively to deliver a broad curriculum that includes traditional team sports dance fitness and outdoor education. The school is also piloting a Sport in Society unit within the Sixth Form connecting PE with leadership psychology and wellbeing something youll have the chance to help shape.
Youll bring:
- QTS or equivalent with a specialism in PE or Sport Science
