Employment Type: PRN
Pay Rate: $20 - $24/hr; (Negotiable based on experience)
Shifts Available: 12-hr Shifts
- 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
- 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our Acute Care team on a PRN basis. As a CNA in our facility you will provide high-quality direct patient care and assist nursing staff in ensuring the comfort safety and well-being of patients during their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN.
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing dressing grooming toileting and feeding.
- Take and record vital signs including temperature pulse respiration and blood pressure.
- Report changes in patient condition or behavior to nursing staff.
- Assist with mobility and transport of patients as needed.
- Ensure patient rooms are clean stocked and organized.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Active Hawaii CNA certification required.
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- 6 months of recent experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
