Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) team on a PRN basis. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality patient care demonstrate strong clinical skills and effectively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Flexibility attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit.
Monitor assess and document patient condition vital signs and responses to treatment.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
Collaborate with physicians care teams and other health professionals to ensure quality patient care.
Educate patients and families on health conditions treatments and post-discharge care plans.
Maintain accurate detailed patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate care in urgent situations.
Adhere to infection control safety procedures and nursing best practices.

Required Qualifications:

Licensure: Current and Valid Hawaii RN license.
Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (ADN or BSN).
Certification: BLS required.
Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg experience.
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient needs.
Strong communication critical thinking and time-management skills.
