About the role
The Mater Private Hospital Springfield Perioperative Department is searching for anexperienced enthusiastic and energetic Clinical Nurse to fulfil the role of a Perioperative Floor Co-Ordinator and Senior Scrub/Scout as required.
This position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis. Flexibility is required as you will be required to fulfil all components of a rotating roster including weekends and on-call.
Mater Private Hospital Springfield is a contemporary and innovative facility incorporating the latest digital technologies providing community wellness initiatives and patient and family centred models of care. The hospital is an 80-bed hospital which provides a range of medical and surgical services as well as a combination of Perioperative and day beds and a day oncology unit within a dedicated cancer care centre.
Salary range: $54.45 - $58.30 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!
What youll be doing
Our Perioperative Clinical Nurses provide additional leadership and advanced clinical competency to our Nursing Team at the Springfield campus. When allocated in the floor co-ordinator role you would be responsible to co-ordinate the entire perioperative department. You will use your extensive experience to provide a mentorship and guiding aspect to assist in the professional growth of less-experienced nursing team members supporting the Nurse Manager in activities designed to aid the sustainability of the Clinical Stream and assist with skill development.
