We are currently seeking a skilled Locum MD (Medical Doctor) or DO (Osteopathic Doctor) specializing in Obstetrics and this role you will play a crucial part in providing temporary medical services to our clients ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction. You will be involved in a variety of projects working closely with healthcare facilities to meet their staffing needs efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Provide obstetrical and gynecological care to patients in accordance with best practices and protocols.
- Perform medical procedures and surgeries as needed ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records up to date.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
- Participate in on-call duties and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Educate patients on health maintenance and preventive measures.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in Ob/Gyn and incorporate new techniques into practice.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in healthcare delivery.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Proven experience working as an Ob/Gyn physician.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to different healthcare settings and patient populations.
Schedule: 24-hour beeper call shifts 8a-8a
Daily Volume: 1-4 GYN surgeries 2-5 nursery admissions 3-4 newborns occasional pediatrics
Emergent GYN and L&D call
40-50% GYN 15-35% c-sections
10 LDRP beds 3 PP beds and 1 triage bed
Support Staff: 2 MDs 5 CNMs
EMR: Epic
Board certification required
