Job Description: Senior In-House Accountant (Female 4555 years preferred)
We are seeking an experienced reliable and long-term Senior In-House Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting and statutory compliance work for our partnership firm (retail jewelry sector). The ideal candidate is a disciplined and detail-oriented professional with deep knowledge of GST Income Tax TDS/TCS and financial reporting. She should be looking for a stable respectful workplace with consistent growth and long-term commitment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including entries reconciliations and ledgers.
Handle GST TDS and Income Tax returns (monthly quarterly and annual).
Prepare and maintain stock statements trading accounts and bank reports for management and auditors.
Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely statutory compliance.
Oversee payroll PF and other employee-related compliance tasks.
Supervise junior entries and ensure accuracy and accountability in reports.
Prepare business intelligence and summary statements for management.
Maintain confidentiality discipline and adherence to processes and deadlines.
Requirements
Female candidates aged between 4555 years preferred (married with grown-up children ideal).
Minimum 1525 years of experience in accounting preferably in trading/retail/manufacturing sectors.
Strong knowledge of GST TDS TCS and Income Tax laws (for partnership firms and individuals).
Excellent command of Tally ERP9/Prime and MS Excel (pivot tables VLOOKUP data cleanup).
Comfortable working on computer-based systems; good typing speed and accuracy required.
Sound mathematical skills logical thinking and precision in data handling.
Strong ownership mindsetable to do the work and get work done when required.
Good communication skills to coordinate with auditors CAs and internal teams.
