Salesforce Functional Role
- Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to define detailed business requirements.
- Translate feature scope defined by the Product Owner into well-structured backlog items.
- Lead story grooming sessions to ensure user stories are clearly defined prioritized and development-ready.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including user stories acceptance criteria process flows and configuration/user guides.
- Partner closely with Product Owners and Scrum teams to refine the backlog and support sprint and PI planning activities.
- Liaise with external teams (including UI designers) to ensure stories meet the Definition of Ready.
- Coordinate and perform handover activities to support seamless transition into operational support processes.

Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Salesforce Functional Consultant within Agile delivery environments.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities and constraints to ensure alignment of acceptance criteria with platform functionality.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration including objects fields workflows and validation rules.
- Proficiency in writing and refining user stories with clear actionable acceptance criteria.
- Excellent communication facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and associated tools (e.g. Jira Confluence and Azure Devops).
Required Skills:
Essential criteria 1. A track record of delivering technology products in large organisations 2. A demonstrated understanding of what makes for a great developer experience for external users 3. Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams that follow agile and user-centred design practices 4. Experience working on large Government transformation programs highly regarded Desirable criteria 1. Knowledge experience of and relationships with the agriculture technology industry 2. Delivery of technology to support regulatory decision-making processes 3. Experience delivering to the Australian Government Digital Service Standard
