| Job Description |
What you will be doing: Registered Dietitian - Develop and implement the nutrition services program in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team (IDT).
- Conduct nutrition assessments to determine the needs preferences and goals of participants.
- Participate in IDT meetings to develop participant care plans.
- Deliver and document direct care nutrition interventions in accordance with physician orders and care plans.
- Implement and monitor special diets and provide nutrition counseling to participants and families.
- Oversee menu planning and meal delivery programs to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
- Direct nutrition staff including hiring training overseeing and mentoring.
- Guide the intake and enrollment process for prospective participants.
Experience you will need: Registered Dietitian - Registered Dietitian with at least four (4) years of experience directing nutrition services in a similar setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) / First Aid Certification required.
- Reliable means of transportation.
- Excellent leadership organization and communication skills in settings with seniors their families and IDT members.
- At least one (1) year of experience with frail or elderly populations.
