Job Summary
At Omio and Rome2Rio were building the next generation of native travel advertisinga premium product suite connecting top tourism brands with tens of millions of global travelers.
Were hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer based in Berlin to join our Ads Product team which is leading this high-impact cross-brand initiative. Youll work across both platforms building the end-to-end architecture for a brand-new monetisation engine.
This is a rare opportunity to build from scratch own full-stack systems across backend and frontend and shape the advertising experience at global scaleright from Omios engineering hub in Berlin.

Responsibilities
- Build and scale backend services and APIs for native ad delivery and monetisation logic
- Develop responsive user-facing components with React TypeScript and JavaScript
- Integrate with internal systems and external ad platforms
- Design clean API contracts and ensure seamless user experiences
- Shape deployment CI/CD and monitoring pipelines
- Collaborate with distributed teams across Berlin Europe and Australia
Qualifications :
- 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development
- Strong frontend skills in React TypeScript JavaScript
- Backend expertise in one or more of the following:
- / Express /
- with API/server-side experience
- .NET / C#
- Java (Spring Boot or similar)
- Deep understanding of scalable architecture RESTful APIs and modern deployment pipelines
- Experience with relational or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MongoDB DynamoDB)
- Strong product mindset and interest in building high-performance user-facing systems
- Bonus: experience in ad tech content platforms or partner integrations
