About the role
Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Clinical Nurse to join the CSSD Department team on a permanent part-time (32hrs per week) basis.
The Clinical Nurse will work in conjunction with the CSSD team for the safe efficient and effective day to day operations of the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD). The position involves input into maintaining quality assurance processes fostering effective communication with multidisciplinary teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives to deliver safe and reliable CSSD services.
Salary range: $54.44 - $58.30 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!
What youll be doing
Our Clinical Nurses provide additional leadership and advanced clinical competency to our Nursing Team using their extensive experience to provide a mentorship and guiding aspect to assist in the professional growth of less-experienced nursing team members supporting the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) in activities designed to aid the sustainability of the Clinical Stream and assist with skill development.

The successful candidate will have current AHPRA nursing registration as a Registered Nurse with no restrictions.
