About the Role
Join the Army Aviation Command as an Aviation Systems Architect supporting the integration and development of cutting-edge aviation systems within Defences digital and operational frameworks. This role is central to enhancing communications command and control computing intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on Army Aviation C4ISR system design implementation and information exchange standards.
- Support system design testing (verification and validation) certification and compliance with military and civilian standards.
- Deliver monthly progress reports and updates.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop plans identify risks and resolve issues.
- Communicate effectively with Defence personnel and maintain a strong support network across Defence and industry.
- Apply industry best practices and comply with relevant standards and regulations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience in Defence systems integration particularly in aviation and C4ISR domains.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage tasks independently and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Deliverables & Performance Expectations
- Demonstrate Best for Defence behaviours with a collaborative integrated team approach.
- Build strong working relationships with Commonwealth and third-party partners.
- Deliver services on schedule and respond promptly to Commonwealth queries.
- Manage probity conflicts of interest and security matters in line with contractual requirements.
