Sponsorship Sales Director Music Evolved Records (Events)

Location: Remote plus 50% travel (Atlanta based preferred)

About Us

Music Evolved Records is a tech-based Label-as-a-Service and the driving force behind national and regional music comedy wellness and community events. Our flagship program is the Ebonized Chill Experience a multi-city tour that combines R&B comedy wellness panels and community 2025 were producing multiple events across the U.S. with plans to expand globally by 2027. Our mission: to heal inspire and uplift through entertainment and mental wellness advocacy.

Were looking for a high-energy results-driven Sponsorship Sales Director to lead sponsorship efforts across all Music Evolved events securing corporate partners sponsors and exhibitors while building and managing a high-performing sales team. This role is immediate and strategic focused on closing sponsors for 2025 events and mapping out a sponsorship strategy for 2026.

Compensation & Incentives

Monthly Retainer:

Initial retainer: $750/month paid bi-weekly ($350 every two weeks)

After the sales team closes its third deal the retainer increases to $1500/month.

Once the team reaches $20000 in monthly sales the retainer increases further and can scale up to $3000/month.

Performance requirement: The team must maintain at least $20000 in sales monthly for the Sponsorship Sales Director to continue receiving the retainer.

Commissions:

30% commission on all personally closed deals (paid within 72 business hours after payment clears)

10% residual commission on renewals or multi-event deals

Overrides & Bonuses:

5% monthly override on team sales (24 Sponsorship Sales Reps)

1% of net revenue from all events

Promotion Path: Eligible for VP of Sponsorship Sales after 12 months of consistent high performance.

What Youll Do

Sell sponsorship partnership and exhibitor packages for all Music Evolved events with a focus on the Ebonized Chill Experience.

Act as a player-coach: secure your own deals while leading and mentoring a sales team of 24 Sponsorship Sales Reps.

Build and maintain relationships with corporate brands small businesses nonprofits and community partners.

Negotiate sponsorship agreements and ensure partner deliverables are met.

Collaborate with event production and marketing teams to execute sponsor activations.

Track sales activity pipeline and KPIs in our CRM.

Travel to 50% of event locations and sponsor meetings.

Immediate focus: Close sponsors for 2025 events and develop a sponsorship strategy and roadmap for 2026.

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)

The Sponsorship Sales Director and team are expected to meet weekly benchmarks:

Personal Sales: Minimum of $15000 in sponsorship/exhibitor sales per month ($3500 weekly).

Team Sales: Team must generate a combined $25000 per month ($6250 weekly).

Meetings: Minimum of 10 qualified sponsor meetings per week (combined team).

Pipeline Growth: Add at least 20 new prospects per rep weekly into the CRM.

What Were Looking For

Proven sponsorship sales experience (concerts festivals expos sports or similar preferred).

Strong ability to network pitch and close high-value deals.

Experience managing a sales team of 24 reps.

Willingness to travel 50% of the time for events and sponsor meetings.

Creative resourceful and persistent in securing opportunities.

Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.

Must be able to start immediately and hit 2025 sponsorship goals.

Must be committed to a long-term role with Music Evolved Records with a clear path to VP of Sponsorship Sales.

Preferred: Existing relationships with potential sponsors brands or businesses that could support Music Evolved events.
