An opportunity exists for an exceptional sales leader to lead our national sales team as National Sales Manager. The role will be responsible for owning the sales revenue and customer relationships at both dealer and direct sales levels for New & Used Equipment Irrigation and Spare Parts. This is a senior role that involves leading the national team. The successful candidate will be able to take Toro sales to the next level and will form the leadership team as a key member. The role will report directly to the Senior Director of Toro Australia.
What will you do
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives for products and services.
- Managing and growing customer relationships ensuring a high level of customer experience satisfaction and loyalty.
- Leading and mentoring a diverse team including regional key account national and area managers.
- Collaborating with the Toro Australia leadership team to drive business growth and achieve company goals.
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
- Interstate and overseas travel is a requirement of the role.
What do you need
- Proven experience in a senior sales management role with Distribution Wholesale and Direct (min 10 years)
- Strong focus and success in relationship-building both with customers and internal staff.
- Excellent people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales and manage a diverse portfolio of products nationally.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Current Passport and Driver License.
KPIs and Performance Metrics for the role include:
- Parts to whole goods ratio %
- Inventory levels (New Demo and Used)
