Senior Full Developer

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Full Developer position! This is a direct hire opportunity and will be on-site in Buffalo NY.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern full stack technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Implement and maintain APIs for seamless integration with other systems.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot debug and upgrade existing software.
• Write clean maintainable and well-documented code.
• Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in web development.
• Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in all development activities.

What Youll Need to Have:

• 7 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineerwith demonstrable experience of both front-end and back-end development and ability to handle the full spectrum of web development tasks.
• Proficiency in Azure for cloud 9 and C# for backend development
• Hands-on experience with for building dynamic responsive front-end applications.
• Experience deploying and managing applications in Microsoft Azure (App Services Functions Storage etc.).
• Preferred: Experience developing dashboards or reports using Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with repository and project management tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline development processes.
• Proficiency in front-end development with and Tailwind CSS along with associated skills such as HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript ES6.
• Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux and experience with RESTful APIs and JSON for backend communication.
• Knowledge of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with WordPress and PowerApps
• Exposure to Python for data analysis and scripting is desired.
• Exposure to Power BI for data visualization and business intelligence and Databricks for big data processing and machine learning will be preferred
• Experience with Azure SQL for cloud-based relational database management and Azure Cosmos DB
• Knowledge of Azure ecosystem services and their application in data-driven decision-making.
• Previous experience in air freight forwarding logistics freight management or similar industry preferred.
• Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities meticulous attention to detail and capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Salary Range:$145000 - $155000 Benefits
