Position Description

As a Restoration Project Coordinator you will support project managers and development staff in the Chico Modesto and San Diego offices and across the organization with day-to-day technical planning and administrative activities. These include supporting staff in assigned project-basedwork;editingproofreadingandformattingtechnicalreportsproposalscontracts permitsand other documents;andcollectionandmanagementof variousformsoftechnicaland project financial data; also working in Deltek Vantagepoint to ensure projects milestones activities schedules budgets and other information is current and accurate.


EssentialFunctionsand Responsibilities

Proposal Development

  • WorkwiththeScienceDevelopmentOperationsandAdministrativeTeamstosupport proposal development as requested.
  • Developadministrativecomponentsofgrantandcontractproposalsforawidevarietyof funding agencies natural resource agencies land managers and local governmental agencies.
  • Assistinthepreparationofproposalsubmittalsandroutingofdocumentscontracts subcontracts and other agreements for review approval and signature.
  • Supportthedevelopment of complexbudgetsdraft budgetjustificationssecure internal approvalsliaisewithsubrecipientscheckproposaldocumentsforcomplianceandwork closely with the Director of Grants for organizational review and submission.
  • Assist the Communications Team in assembling revising and maintaining current StatementofQualifications(SOQ)andotherorganizationalmarketingmaterialsforuse in bid and proposal preparation.

Project Coordination

  • Serve as a communications hub for project managers at River Partners and external clientsandpartners-trackand monitorproject deliverablestimelinesandbudgetsand work with colleagues and partners to anticipate and mitigate project changes during projects lifecycles.
  • Create update and maintain project data files within Deltek Vantagepoint ERP to provideaccurateandrelevantinformationforavarietyofpurposesincludingproject financial planning metrics and impact reporting and external communications.
  • CollaboratewithAdministrativeTeamatRiverPartnerstosupportProjectManagersto appropriatelyscheduleandbudgetresourcestodeliver large-scaleriverand floodplain restoration projects across the region on time and within budget expectations.
  • CoordinatewithProjectManagerstocreateanddistributeprojectinvoicesandprogress reports as per grant agreement or contract terms.
  • Attendrecurringinternalmeetingsrelevanttothetasksbeingmanagedwhichmay include Science Operations and Regional Team meetings.
  • LeadinternalteamcommunicationusingorganizationaltoolsincludingVantagepoint SharePoint and MS Teams notebooks and calendars as requested.
  • Helptocreateandmaintainclearproceduresforvariousadministrativeprocessesas requested.
  • Respondtoinquiriesinatimelymannerusingeffectiveinterpersonalcommunication critical thinking and problem-solving skills and methods as appropriate to address questions and/or concerns.

  • Ability vision and energy to collaborate with all River Partners teams (Development

ScienceOperationsAdministrativeandCommunications)aswellasdozensofexternal partnerstosecureandmanagecomplexmulti-million-dollarrestorationprojectsalong rivers in California.

  • Capabilitytotrackandmonitorprojectdeliverablesmanagingmultipledeadlineswith poise and accuracy.
  • Enthusiasmandabilitytoreporttoclientsandfundersaswellasmaintaininggood working relationships with a diverse group of colleagues.
  • Familiaritywithsubcontractingroutingschedulingandprogressreportingforgrantsand contracts.
  • Strong writing and analytical skills must be able to read detailed documents and synthesizerelevantinformationrapidlycommunicateclearlywithteammembersand prepare cohesive written products independently and through collaboration.
  • Creatively solve problems and learn new skills.
  • Experience with project management software and contract deliverable tracking.
  • Abilitytoworkinbothateamenvironmentandindependently.
  • Mustbeabletoremaindedicatedandfocusedonmultipletime-boundtasks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or associate degree and minimum of 3 years of experience in a professionalofficeenvironmentorequivalentcombinationofeducationandexperience.
  • ProficiencyinworkingwithMicrosoftOfficeSuite(WordExcelTeamsPowerPoint Outlook) and SharePoint.
  • ExperienceworkingwithDeltekVantagepoint(preferred)orotherproject-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform.
  • Strongverbalandwrittencommunicationskillsthatmeetbusinesscommunication standards for email and correspondence.
  • Excellentorganizationalskillstimemanagementandattentiontodetailsareessential.
  • CommitmentandenthusiasmtocarryoutRiverPartnersmission.
  • Provenexperienceworkingwithpublicagencies(preferred)andfamiliaritywithgrant programs or grant management.

Compensation

Salaryiscommensuratewithexperienceanticipatedtorangebetween$26.20to$32.93 hourly or $54500 and $68500 annually. River Partners offers a generous benefits package including ample holidays and paid time off an alternative work week schedule flexible location and hours medical insurance and up to 4% 401(k) match on your contribution.

Location

Thisposition will report fromourSacramento required. A hybrid schedule may be approved after the introductory period.
