About the Role
As Controller youll manage all aspects of the organizations accounting and finance functionsensuring compliance accuracy and operational excellence. Youll serve as a key partner to the CEO and work closely with corporate leadership to enhance financial performance and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including cash management reconciliations and reporting.
- Supervise and approve accounts payable/receivable processes and monthly financial reports.
- Review journal entries and maintain compliance with local accounting standards.
- Prepare and distribute accurate financial statements and analyses.
- Oversee payroll administration and ensure compliance with tax and labor regulations.
- Manage tax documentation and coordinate with regulatory authorities.
- Support external audits and maintain internal control documentation.
- Lead budgeting forecasting and financial planning efforts.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement across financial systems and workflows.
Were looking for a motivated dependable and collaborative finance professional with the following background:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
- 57 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Mid-level management experience.
- In-depth understanding of local accounting standards and financial compliance.
- Proven experience with payroll accounts payable/receivable and reporting.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks SAP Oracle or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- CPA ACCA or CIMA certification preferred but not required.
- IFRS knowledge is an asset.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required.

- Comfortable working in a dynamic evolving environment where priorities may shift.
- Ability to work for long periods at a desk and on a computer.
- Ability to lift up to 10 lbs on an occasional basis.
