Job Summary

Were looking for an experienced and dynamic Executive Sous Chef to help oversee all kitchen operations across our à la carte banquets and stewarding teams. This is a pivotal leadership role where innovation meets excellence and where your culinary vision will shape the guest experience.

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage all kitchen areas ensuring smooth daily operations across restaurant room service and events.
  • Deliver consistently high-quality cuisine that meets and exceeds guest expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement innovative menus and food concepts.
  • Maintain top-tier hygiene and safety standards in line with HACCP and WHS regulations.
  • Drive cost control purchasing and reporting to meet financial performance targets.
  • Foster a culture of excellence training and development within the kitchen brigade.
  • Champion Accors HEARTIST principles to create memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in a senior kitchen leadership role ideally within a high-volume hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food trends presentation and modern cooking techniques.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • A commitment to health safety and sustainability.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing budgets and payroll.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding guest service and culinary experiences.
  • Able to work a rotating roster across 7 days
  • Full New Zealand Working Rights
