Job Summary

Red Ember Recruitment on behalf of our client is seeking a Wine Sales Assistant. If you love helping customers discover the perfect bottle this role blends service sales and wine education in a vibrant growth-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers in selecting wines by preference/occasion
Provide expert knowledge on varieties regions and pairings
Conduct tastings and recommend to enhance experience
Process sales accurately; maintain records
Stock management restocking and display merchandising
Stay current with wine trends and industry news
Support in-store events and marketing activations

Requirements

Experience in wine sales/hospitality/retail (advantage)
WSET Level 1 minimum or strong willingness to learn
Excellent customer service & communication skills
Passion for wine; engaging consultative approach
Target-driven with proactive sales mindset
Strong organization & attention to detail
Flexible to work retail hours (weekends/holidays)
