This is a remote position.
This position will provide engineering support across a wide range of enterprise networking technologies with a primary focus on Cisco firewalls (ASA and Firepower NGFW) Cisco switching platforms (Catalyst and Nexus series) Cisco routing platforms (ISR/ASR series) Cisco wireless infrastructure (WLC and APs) and Cisco Fibre Channel switches while also supporting Palo Alto firewalls and F5 Load Balancers. This role requires hands-on experience in configuring troubleshooting and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure as well as familiarity with Cisco management platforms such as Catalyst Center and Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC).
Provide operational support troubleshooting and configuration for:
o Cisco firewalls (ASA and Firepower NGFW)
o Cisco switching platforms (Catalyst and Nexus series)
o Cisco routing platforms (ISR/ASR series)
o Cisco wireless infrastructure (WLC and APs)
o Cisco Fibre Channel switches
o Palo Alto firewalls
o F5 Load Balancers
Monitor and maintain performance availability and reliability across client network environments.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
Support deployment and lifecycle management of network hardware and software.
Utilize Cisco Catalyst Center and Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC) for monitoring configuration and policy management.
Implement and document changes in accordance with change management processes.
Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles for supported environments
5 years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments. Strong hands-on experience with:
o Cisco firewalls (ASA and Firepower NGFW)
o Cisco switching (Catalyst and Nexus series)
o Cisco routing (ISR/ASR series)
o Cisco wireless (WLC and APs)
o Cisco Fibre Channel switches
Working knowledge of Palo Alto firewall administration.
Experience supporting F5 Load Balancers.
Familiarity with Cisco Catalyst Center and Cisco Nexus Dashboard Fabric Controller (NDFC).
Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple networking domains.
Ability to follow structured ITIL-based changes and incident processes.
Excellent communication skills for working with global delivery teams.
Nice to have
o CCNP or equivalent Cisco certification.
o Palo Alto Networks certification (PCNSE or equivalent).
o F5 Certified Administrator or equivalent hands-on experience.
o Experience in a Managed Services or NOC environment.
