Litigation Attorney General Liability

Location: Jacksonville FL

Work Schedule: Full-Time/Hybrid

Our client is a boutique civil litigation firm with a strong reputation for excellence in insurance defense. The firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join its General Liability Team. This position offers the opportunity to handle diverse and complex cases including premises liability product liability medical negligence wrongful death and personal injury matters.

Key Responsibilities

Manage cases from inception through trial or settlement
Draft and review pleadings motions discovery and legal briefs
Conduct depositions mediations hearings and court appearances
Analyze medical records discovery responses and case documentation
Communicate effectively with clients opposing counsel and court personnel
Maintain accurate billing records and meet productivity goals

Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Active bar admission and good standing in Florida
3-5 years of experience in civil litigation is preferred
Strong legal research writing and analytical skills
Insurance defense and trial experience preferred
Familiarity with motor vehicle and premises liability cases a plus
