Job Summary
UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital is looking for a Locum Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician for PRN coverage
Schedule:
- Ideal Candidate would have flexibility on schedule and not require a minimum number of coverage days.
- 4-8 days each month coverage
- Wed Thurs Fri every week & occasional weekend call
- Day shift 7a-5p
- Night call 5p-7a (low call census and almost no callback)
- PM&R is the attending
- There is no hospitalist coverage on the patients usually.
- The facility places consult for medically complex patients and have access to all the typical hospital specialties since the rehab unit is located within a community hospital
- Max beds 14 usual Census is between 12-14. 1-2 discharges and admission per day with variability
- Percentage of Practice: Adult Inpatient - 100%
- PM&R: Sports/Ortho - 33%; CNS Rehab - 50%; Medical Rehab - 17%
- Average number of patients per day: 14
- Number of Physicians in a group: 7 PMR physicians
- Locum tenens physician required to supervise other healthcare providers: No
- Other PM&Rs be present during our locum tenens coverage: No
- X-ray onsite: YES
- Number of exam rooms: 14
- Documentation/EMR System: Epic (Hospital)
- Total number of beds: 300
- Trauma level 3
- Referral/transfer protocol: Affiliated hospitals transfer from 13 miles and 28 miles are most common

Travel Requirements:
- Must send provider flights and lodging info 4 weeks before start.
- Flights - Up to $750 RT cap
- Lodging - Reimbursed by Receipt - $150/night before taxes and fees
- Car rental - Reimbursed by Receipt - up to an economy car cap.
- Mileage - IRS Standard Rate.
Requirement description :
- Board Certified in PM&R - REQUIRED
- Active CO License or Active IMLC - REQUIRED
