Job Summary

Job Title: API Automation Engineer using Ready API
Job Location: Bethesda MD
Job Type: Contract

Job Description:

Design develop and maintain automated API test scripts using ReadyAPI / SoapUI Pro.

Integrate automated API tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins GitLab Azure DevOps).

Develop and execute functional regression performance and load tests for APIs and microservices.

Validate API responses schemas and data integrity across multiple environments.

Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to define test strategies acceptance criteria and automation best practices.

Troubleshoot test failures identify root causes and provide detailed defect documentation.

Maintain test data and configuration for automated testing environments.

Generate and analyse test reports to ensure high software quality standards.

Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes.

Should have 10 years of experience in QA

Strong Handson experience in API Automation with Ready Api Groovy

Good working experience in API testing using postman

Hands on experience on Git Jenkins

Experience in monitoring tools like Dynatrace

Excellent communication skill as it would require direct interactions with client and cross

Strong hands-on experience in Performance testing using Neo Load (good to have)
