About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in driving process improvements ensuring product quality and supporting efficient production operations. You ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing systems and contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

Design implement and improve manufacturing processes and workflows for circuit card assemblies electronics box assemblies and ground support equipment for those assemblies.

Programming of SMT equipment (Screen Printers Placement and Reflow ovens)

Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions

Support new product introductions by developing and validating manufacturing processes

Collaborate with design quality and operations teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance

Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions

Understanding Engineering Drawings and translating them into work instructions for manufacturing technicians

Design manufacturing fixtures for use by production technicians (SolidWorks CAD Software)

Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma or other methodologies

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering (or related field)

3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role

Strong understanding of manufacturing principles process design and quality systems

Experience with CAD software and manufacturing tools

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma or similar methodologies

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Aerospace Space electronics manufacturing of PWB PCB and Circuit Card Assemblies

Familiarity with IPC J-STD NASA 8739 standards and regulatory requirements as they apply to the manufacture of Circuit Card Assemblies

Familiar with Select Solder SMT Pick & Place machines Screen Printers and Reflow Process

Certification in Lean/Six Sigma or similar (yellow belt or higher)

Salary Range Transparency:

Phoenix AZ $70000.00 $115000.00 Annually
